RingScore — Privacy Policy

RingScore keeps Activity ring data private and local while making today's RingScore easy to check.

HealthKit access

RingScore only reads HealthKit data. The app asks for read-only access to the Apple Health activity data needed to calculate your RingScore, such as Move, Exercise, and Stand ring progress. It never writes, changes, or deletes Health data. Health permissions are controlled by you and can be changed anytime in iOS Settings.

Local storage, widgets, and Apple Watch

Your RingScore, Daily Goal, recent history, widget cache, Apple Watch cache, complication data, notification state, and CSV export data stay on your device or in the App Group storage shared by the RingScore app, widget, and Watch app. RingScore does not create an account, use cloud sync, or upload your Health data to a server.

No ads, accounts, analytics, or tracking

RingScore has no ads, no account, no login, no analytics SDK, no tracking SDK, and no third-party ad or consent SDK.

Health data, Activity ring details, RingScore values, Daily Goal values, history, and Move-only state are not sent to ad networks, analytics tools, cloud services, or a backend server.

The app does not need network access to calculate your score, and it does not sell or share Health data.

Retention and deletion

Health data remains in Apple Health. RingScore's locally stored scores, settings, notification state, widget cache, and Watch cache stay on your devices until you delete the app, clear app data, or change the relevant system permissions.

Permissions and control

You can revoke Health access, notification permission, or other system permissions at any time in iOS Settings. If Health access is revoked, RingScore cannot calculate new scores until access is granted again.
